Australian Jewellery Designers
Australia has some great gems, pardon the pun, of jewellery designers. Some well known and some under the radar. You want jewellery that is unique and personal to you. Ones that are not too expensive. Even without the traditional retail outlets, some designers are making a name for themselves via social media.
Below are a few for you to check out. Just in time for Christmas if you want. As a present to yourself or for that special person in your life.
Sarah & Sebastian
Sarah Gittoes & Robert Sebastian Grynkofki are the two people behind their namesake. They both studied design and met overseas. Based in Sydney, their jewellery are handcrafted using traditional goldsmith techniques. They have jewellery for both men & women, which includes rings, necklace, earrings and bracelets.

Zoë Richardson is the designer behind Zoë Alexandria. Based in Sydney, her jewellery are all handmade. Loving all thing less ordinary, she mainly focuses on natural & unique gemstones and metals. Her collection include rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings.

F + H Jewellery
The designer behind F + H Jewellery is Sharona Harris and she is based in Byron Bay. All of her jewellery are original creations and represent the perfect balance between feminine & masculine. Her collection includes earrings, necklaces, bracelets, anklets, rings and gemstone jewellery.
Luke Abbot Designs
Luke Abbot is the designer behind his namesake and is based in Sydney. He studied Diploma of Jewellery and Object Design and did an exchange placement in Hiko Mizuno College of Jewelry, Shibuya, Tokyo. Most of Luke’s jewellery are creature based.
The designer behind Middle Child is Lauren Hassett who is based in Geelong. She has a passion for mid century style, which most of her designs are based on. Lauren already had a label called Oktoberdee selling both leather accessories and jewellery. By 2017, it became clear to Lauren that the jewellery needed its own label and so Middle Child was born. Her jewellery collection includes earrings & necklaces.

The designer behind Minjimorphic is Minji Han. She is based in Sydney and all her jewellery are designed and handcrafted by her. Minji majored in jewellery design and graphics at the University of New South Wales. Each of her jewellery pieces are unique in one way or another and are made in limited numbers. Her jewellery collection includes earrings, rings, necklace, bracelets & brooch. Besides jewellery Minji also designs tableware & homeware.
Bush Magic Metal
The designer behind Bush Magic Metal is Lydia Baker, an Indigenous woman from the Bundjalung Country, the northern coastal area of NSW. Lydia is self taught in silversmithing. All her jewellery are handmade. She is inspired by her culture, stories of her ancestors and her love for the Australian bush. Lydia’s collection includes rings, earrings & necklaces/pendants.
